Neurology Department is guided by more than 5 consultants and treats over 500 outpatients and 100 inpatients every month. It has a dedicated ICU with 11 beds for stroke, head injury and other serious neurological conditions. A large number of patients are treated with focus on stroke, epilepsy, head ache, movement disorders and neuromuscular disorders.
Round the clock Imaging facility, Neuro-Lab, Colour Doppler, Transcranial Doppler Study and Prompt Lab services. Excellent critical care backup along with coordinated team of intensivists enables this unit to take up and treat critical cases (e.g.GB Syndrome with respiratory failure, status epileptics, hypoxic encephalopathy etc) with remarkable success referred from various Hospitals and Health care units around the state.
